In order to apply academic standards to extra-curricular activities, 5 out of 6 classes must be passed each semester at the Varsity Level. To be eligible for B-team and C-team activities a student must pass 5 out of 6 classes. In order to continue in a sport at CFCA, a student must be passing 5 out of 6 classes at the 9-week grading period and have a minimum of a 2.0 average each semester.

Competitive Level

Central Fellowship Christian Academy competes in athletics in the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) at the AA level. The GISA is a very competitive league and challenges our coaches and athletes to perform at their very best. There are eligibility requirements as outlined by the GISA and can be obtained from the athletic department. Our goal, in addition to developing young men and women of good Christian character, is to also regularly compete for region and state championships
in the GISA.

Coaches and Sponsors

CFCA Athletics is a wonderful place for a young person to develop character, develop as an athlete, and learn to compete at their highest possible level of play. Each coach at CFCA is a Christian and our coaches are excellent role models for students. Our coaches are committed to helping young people grow personally and spiritually as well as athletically. Our coaches are dedicated to their sport and emphasize the fundamentals of the sport and fair play as we compete. Coaches are an extension of the CFCA staff and should be treated with due respect by students and parents. In order to participate in an extra curricular activity, students must be counted present on the day of the activity. Students participating in activities are expected to be present for the entire school day following the day of an activity. Students with unexcused absences the day following an activity will not be eligible to participate in the next scheduled activity.
